How to recharge FASTag online in India?
Fastag recharge can be done online using Internet banking and credit/debit cards. Similarly, this can be done using online wallets like Paytm, Amazon Pay etc.
Below are a few methods where one can instantly recharge and zoom through the toll plazas without waiting in the long queue.
The Government has now made mandatory to pay toll fee using FASTag.
If you have purchased from any of the banks then you can recharge using internet banking.

Fastag Recharge using Amazon Pay:
Using Amazon Pay: (Only available on the app – Android only)
- Open Amazon.in app on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the Amazon Pay option.
- Search and select the FASTag option.
- Enter your vehicle number and select issuer bank from the list.
- Pay the amount using the Amazon Pay UPI option.
- Please note that you need to set up Amazon Pay UPI on your Amazon account.
Where to purchase?
Most of the Govt and Private banks in India are selling on their official websites. Check out the bank’s website for more details in the below link.
If you need any more information about the FASTag, please visit the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) official website.
Other than banks, you can also purchase and recharge from apps like Paytm and Airtel. Go to Airtel or Paytm website and submit the requested documents to purchase a new tag. If you have already purchased from these sellers, then proceed to recharge.
Also, there will be counters available at selected toll-plazas. You can directly purchase from those counters.
Newly purchased vehicles can get the tag from the dealers.
Cost of Fastag.
The cost of the tag might vary from the seller. It may vary from Rs 200 to Rs 500 depending on the class of vehicle like car, jeep, bus, commercial vehicles, heavy vehicles etc. The cost includes the issue of New card, security deposit and convenience charges.
